Description

A boom placer is a piece of construction equipment, often mounted on a truck, that uses a remote-controlled, multi-section hydraulic boom to place concrete accurately in hard-to-reach areas like high-rise buildings, bridges, and large slabs. It is a more efficient and precise alternative to manual concrete placement.

Key components

  • Concrete pump: Transfers liquid concrete through a pipeline.
  • Boom arm: A multi-section robotic arm that extends and articulates to position the delivery hose.
  • Remote control: Allows an operator to maneuver the boom and control the concrete flow precisely.
  • Pipelines/hoses: Deliver the concrete from the pump to the placing location.
